E-mail Setup
Step-by-step settings for email clients are not provided here, but all email clients will require the following information. Both incoming and outgoing mail servers require secure authentication. You will need to configure your email client to use TLS or SSL.

- Ports: 25 (TLS), 465 (SSL), 587 (TLS). Note that some internet providers block port 25. It is recommended you use ports 465 or 587.
- Server requires authentation
- Username: your email address
- Password: your email password
Incoming mail (IMAP—recommended):

E-mail Tips
This mail server supports server-size mail rules via the Sieve mail filtering language. See sieve.info for more information about Sieve. The mail server also supports ManageSieve to allow Sieve clients to remotely edit Sieve scripts. A simple way to edit your Sieve scripts is to use Mozilla Thunderbird with the Thunderbird Sieve extension installed. The Sieve server and login information is the same as above: mail.roy.org, use your email address and password to login.
The mail server supports email address in the form of user+other@example.com. Emails sent to this email address will be delievered to user@example.com. This allows you to use filtering rules (either Sieve or your mail client's rules). For instance, you might want user+work@example.com and user+school@example.com to help separate your work emails form your school emails.
